Any chinese school in singapore? NO. And why are the chinese f@#$%$# like monkeys here?
One
day there will be a radical umno leader who will abolish chinese
schools at the stroke of a pen. The present leaders dont have balls. But
soon there will be one with balls.

Hell,
if u guys showed sincerity in assimilating into nusantara culture,

all emperors were Manchu, not han chinese. At that time, manchu
controlled the chinese.
Chinese diaspora happened out of economic
wants or better life,- bcos China then was raged by war and
poverty, migrant Chinese in indonesia, thailand were forced to assimilate
by adopting Javanese and thai name respectively, they dont enjoy any
gov benefit if they use their chinese names.Chinese in US are proud to
be identified as American first, all also bcos of US policy. Malaysians
like to identified by Race first, bcos of race-based policy.Policy

Just because it was written by a an ethnic Chinese doesn't make
it any more credible than a John Smith writing an essay and flogging it
to be as Shakespeare or Einstein quality.
Bad punctuations aside,
the author seems to have a bone to pick with the Chinese Eds. There are
many omissions and dubious facts such as that the language of the Tang
Dynasty was in fact Cantonese.
The piece was written to trash or
at least plea and unfortunately single out generally a particular group
of not adhering to a political agenda. In short it is a racist piece of
work to support an agenda of hate to a particular group, by hoping to
force a quasi truthful narrative.
This is bad, and puts the
reader in a myopic opinion by swirling around the topic of race, when
there are more constructive views.
While it may be true that some
saw the need for vernacular schools as the right to link back to China,
the majority is the simple need for education.
Why didn't the
author highlight the rise of Chinese schools was simply that the Brits
didn't intend nor provided for this to the poor Chinese labourers?
From
that, even after independence, there was a distrust on if proper
education would and could be provided. That hedge paid off, and today it
is fortunate that there is the alternative of Chinese schools which
really do provide a higher quality of education.
English schools
became National schools and sorry to say, it was downhill from there
when the schools became so politicized again with you people so obsessed
with race and dominance of a race.
So much so, that now
everyone... Including Non-Chinese are competing to get into Chinese
schools eventhough they are famous for being tough on the kids.
By
singling out Chinese education and his fellow Chinese for censure,
isn't the author being chauvinistic too... For the other side?
The
thing is the author is missing the point by viewing this through a race
lens. The point is quality education, and preparing kids for a globally
competitive world increasingly dominated by China.
Like it or
not, because we have Chinese schools, we are in such a great position to
benefit from it, just as we did when our English schools gave us the
edge. Sadly we ultimately threw it away when insecure Malay supremacists
dominated the political agenda.
By promoting and spinning the
idea of the Chinese chauvinists in an apparent reference and linkage to
the big swing in fed-up electorate against MCA, you are again going to
be unreal and cost every Malaysian AGAIN to waste what little advantage
we have left.
Get over the fact that Malay, while is a beautiful
culture and language will not be the lingua fraca. Even Malays are
trying to be Arabs.
So why not try to keep thing real, and be practical. Don't politicize education anymore. Educate for knowledge ... Not politics.

We salute Mr. Tai Zee Kin's eloquence in presenting a largely
taboo and often obfuscated subject for the Chinese in our pragmatic
Malaysian cultural setting. The question at the back of my mind
after reading this civilizational exposition was what kind of
educational experience did this gentleman who graduated from the Sekolah
Kebangsaan receive. Shouldn't the Kementerian Pendidikan research
Mr.Tai's background and history to find a resolution to replace
"outmoded" fully-vernacular schools with some kind of "gemilang"
mainstream Malaysian school system with integrated vernacular
co-curriculum program(s)? Mr. Tai Zee Kin will likely resonate with
Prof. Tu Wei Ming in a talk Bill Moyers in America: The Art of Deep Listening to others in Communicative Relationships, and Respecting the Cumulative Tradition of our Elders.
Many
modern Chinese today have unwittingly imbibed the economic
individualism of secular humanism which is in direct contrast to
traditional Confucian civilization of wholistic altruism in society
through the self-cultivation of human beings.
"A man has no true faith in God until he loves for his fellowman what he loves for himself"

late father said, "Pa, jangan Hina orang Cina, kesiankan dia, dia orang
susah datang negeri kita, abah bangga dengan Pak Ngah kau kawin dengan

I think this has to do with Islam. The reason why Chinese willing
to integrate with American culture, Thai etc because they are not
Muslims. On the other hand if they integrate with Malay culture they
have to absorb Islam. I may be wrong though. They may also preceive
Malay culture as inferior compare to their 5000 year old culture.

Most Cantonese people came from Guangzhou and Hokkien people came from Fujian by Tongkang. 1. Northern and Southern were divided through long historical war between Dynasties. 2.
Mandarin wasn't the original languages it was used by
Labor/Union/Liberal/Democrat/Fascist/Socialist/Communist/Anarchist China
to unite the people when they weren't united. Hokkien was the original
language in the Imperial city because they were lineage of the Emperor
and officials before Mongolian, Han Dynasty overthrow the real Emperor
and Manchurian invaded and took over the Imperial City. That's why
Hokkien people are in Fujian. 3. Why they didn't want to go back to
Socialist Communist China because they have one child policy program and
become poorer. Here in Malaysia we are rich and can have more than 10
children 1945. Great great grandfather 4. My paternal mother's
that's my great grandfather got a traditional Cantonese teacher taught
the original history of China and classical literature with oldest
writing. 5. I was English educated similar to my grandparents can't comment on this point. 6.
My paternal great grandfather came and earn his wages by carrying gunny
sacks of rice until he became independent and open a warehouse to
transport gunny sacks of rice. Later, his relative came along and eat up
his hard earn monthly food. Whereas, my paternal mother's great
grandfather in Canton Guangzhou allow my grandmother's father to find a
living in Malaysia and he open a company that fix engines after
learning from Australian mechanic hands on near Sungai Besi area. 5. China Town in other countries are places to eat Chinese food and get Chinese products to cook in recipes. Nothing much. 6. Malaysian 1st of course.

knocked them down hard till their sombong bodoh peasant Ego showed some

Difficulties to integrate with locals in this land is for a very simple reason . Rejection of the conversion to Islam .
Don't
scorn me , I'm just stating a fact . Ask any mid or lower income
Chinese men their desire to marry a ... More economical and submissive
Malay lady but I heard them saying '' Alas kena sunat , makan susah etc .
Notice how easy and common in Thailand and Philippine for the
Sino-local cross marriage . It's even popular in Borneo among Kadazan
and Dusun . I have Sino-Kadazan best friends in Sabah that I have to
help them to translate daily when we were traveling in Beijing . Their
surname are Lim , Vui and Teoh etc . Of course when it come for food
their life is easier there ! Even in Indonesia there was a period of
time when integration was so easy when there is no compulsion to
convert to Islam . That was the time when there leader was uber
nationalist and put faith at the back seat .
I'm just giving you
one of the clear reason why it's too difficult for integration .
Solution ? You ponder about it . The Islamic ceramah here by ultra
religious are always confined to politics , fardhu Ain ( basic ritual of
a Muslim ) , hudud etc . I have a Chinese accountant . Converted last
year quietly . Why ? He thought he will make money by taking Islamic
taxation and offer it to his Muslim clients . While studying the
fairness of the system .. End up you know what happened .

Wow thanks for this great article. I remember the good old days
when Chinese, Indians n Malays ladies would sembang2 at the sundry shop
or when the Cina Jual Ikan comes along. They had their own way of
negotiating wt each other wt their bazar Malay. Now its so much
different. We hardly see young Chinese, Indians n Malays talk to each
other. They dont study together. They dont live together. They dont
watch the same TV programs or listen to the same music. Infact, they
dont share anything singnificat that could bind them together. The
Mandarin that the Chinese pick up in schools have elevated their social
ranking in society. I remember how my Chinese friends who spoke Mandarin
would be scoffed as being arrogant n a show off. That was 30 years ago.
Even the Indians who does not speak Tamil are scoffed. I guess when u
"think" u are a class higher then ur ancestors or the person beside you,
u trully become a true rasist. So, lets be honest here. No more
Mandarin or Tamil schools. Only Malaysian schools using Bahasa Malaysia
taught by Malaysians n attended by Malaysians. Also, keep religion out
of schools, be Islam, Christianity or Hindu. What say you?

are too filled with 'hate' and 'dislike' to get to know us. Even in the
mosque the Malays will leave us alone. 10. One mosque I have gone
to for a year now and I am the only Chinese. In the one year, not a
single malay have approached me.

Chinese nowadays always pick the best school for their children.
Unfortunately most sekolah kebangsaan are not up to bar against
International school and Chinese school yet, no matter how much
resources government pour into sekolah kebangsaan. Those live nearby
good sekolah kebangsaan send their kids to these schools without second
thought.

I'm a malaysian chinese and I totally agree about the writer. I
cant read or write mandarin, some even laugh at me that i cant even
write my own chinese name. But heck its alright im Malaysian. I really
dont find the use of Mandarin in Malaysia.
I do understand why
Chinese some even malay send their children to SRJK. Have alook at our
SRK, the teachers and the condition of the school. Im from SRK, but when
i go back to the school and look around, gosh its really in a bad
shape. Its really sad comparing now and then.
Last month i hire
an axeman to cut a mango tree at my house. His name happens to be Syed
too. He is 2 years older then me around 35, so we were talking about our
family, He told me he send his 7 year old son to a Chinese school
instead of SRK. I ask him why? He told me, have you seen a
headmistress standing outside at the school gate during rain and ferry
the students into the school? I did not ask further. :) I guess thats what every Parents want for their children. Quality teachers and Quality school education. As
long as out SRK does not buck up, its gonna be hard. My son is 1 year
old, hoping in 6 years time there will be a major overhaul in our
education system, so my son can play catching and football with faiz and
ganesh like what i did back then when i was young.

I am one of those "Chinese" kids who grew up all the way in the
urban non-KL SMK school system, and this article is definitely
eye-opening, especially given the fact we learn close to nil of China's
history in school (which I am not implying is a bad thing). Which brings
up my point really, that all my life I have only honestly felt like a
Malaysian, bercakap BM pasar sama broder-broder semua kat skolah (oh my
BM teacher will slaughter me), hanging out at the mamak's and such. And
as I grow older, and as I go overseas to experience other worlds, and as
I meet other "Malaysians", the more I feel a strong love for the
culture that we have somehow created through our collective actions of
assimilating with as well as struggling against, which you can find
nowhere else in the world. Because Malaysia has such a complex history
for the short history we have (and maybe that is why we have not yet
come to a singular national identity), everyone seems to have a
different definition of "Malaysia", but the culture I make reference to
above is what I feel defines Malaysia, and why I call myself a
Malaysian.
That being said, I have no specific comments for or
against the article. What I would like to contribute though, is that I'm
not sure if people in other societal circles realize it, but we (the
urban non-KL SMK school system "Chinese" kids) feel this "invisible
wall" between us and “Chinese” kids who went through the SMJK school
system. We might possibly be lumped into the same stereotype by others,
but there is a degree of difference between the two groups (I am not
trying to imply any one is better than the other here). Some might
disagree, but I only speak from my experience, so it might be helpful to
realize there is a distinction. Ku memang tak tau camna nak cakap
Bahasa Cina. Kat tempat tinggal ku pulak mamak pun boleh cakap
Hokkien-ua. For me, I never realized the whole “racial” issue until I
grew much older because I never felt it. Maybe we are few in number
being the 9% (or even less, being a subset of that 9%), but realize that
this group exists. A group of people who eat nasi kandar with their
hands because their “Chinese” dad taught them how to. A group of people
of whom one of their best friends cannot claim any “race” because his
family tree is so rojak.
If I could go back in time and choose
again, I would not choose any other way to have grown up. (Although I
have a thing to pick with the state of our current education system but
that is a separate issue – I wouldn’t want to change the culture)

and to the BUTT THINKING CHINESE (explanations below-mentioned).
Still
in denial eh? The root cause is these people called CHINESE all over
the world when the time is riped they would want to 'CORRECT' so called
past injustices or ill-treatment they received from colonial masters eg.
Head Tax in Canada, killed in Australia etc
They are Jews of Asia whom believed they are wrongly persecuted/treated and took revenge on the wrong people after all.
Just
be upfront that you are never satisfied with what you have until
everything is in your ABSOLUTE control, its your given nature that is
very hard even for you yourself to fathom. The Jews would say they are
the chosen tribe, then what is your tagline?
The Malays forfeited
many rights, been very forgiving and most willing to share despite the
pie on their plate is minimal and still lagging behind! But the Malays
are no greedy lot and easily contented yet they are seen as hopeless and
lazy, even spat at literally!
My point - just acknowledged that
MAY 13, 1969 the CHINESE lot pushed the red button so arrogantly that
sent the temperature boiling!
You do not want to integrate or
assimilate not because of 'OTHER' reason/s, the problem is always
looping back to not having full control means you cannot profess and
realised your REAL AGENDA OF HAVING ABSOLUTE POWER AND CONTROL!
When
given the little power in your hands you can hail MALAI SI and many
other derogatory remarks along with jibed to the constitutional monarchy
and ruling class malays ie UMNO, imagined the retribution when you
attained ABSOLUTE POWER AND CONTROL! In this case retribution doesn't
mean justified but pure VENGEANCE and RAGE!
LKY (offshoot LHL,
PM) and LKS (offshoot LGE, CM) are LIVING example of you people are
better than anybody else (Too ARROGANT) including your elite, let alone
the Malays. Now that LKY is in his twilight years and 'realised' there
is divine power beyond him after all with depleting health and erratic
sharp rebuttals, he knew that he will never be able come back from his
grave and corrected what is not RIGHT according to him as he once
proudly and arrogantly said himself!
The man is so far ahead of his planning even in death but his thinking is from the HEART OF HIS BOTTOM!
If
you want to call it racist or abuse choice of words to LKY or even LKS
then it is lame compared to what his own rhetorics thrown very loosely
and cheaply at the Malays in the parliament, memoirs etc. you name it.

Very badly researched article, bases his 'facts' with his own
experience and own observations and interpretations. Don't get me wrong,
I agree there's a dichotomy when it comes to English speaking chinese
ppl (the bananas) and Chinese speaking Chinese (what we bananas call
very cina type) However, he does raise some points. There's no doubt
that there is a big majority of these ppl who tend to stay within the
confines of their clique, and can be admittingly quite a racist lot. Am
not saying all of them are like that, but one has to also question the
manner of which the environment they grew up in.
I agree that a
stumbling block to national intergration stems from there not being a
uniform schooling system. Having a Chinese school blocks many of the
interface between races. BBeing from a national school, an sm
kebangsaan, I can appreciate what national schools try to achieve.
However, one major stumbling block is our national education system,of
which is sseverely lacking in any kind of standard.National schools
should have an integrated aapproach, making tamil and chinese as an
option. Increase the quality of the education system. Many more to bitch
about, will continue next time.

Good job, well done. Although you know Mandarin yet you can
differenciate so well. You are excellent. Keep writing to wake up the
one sided Chinese that include most DAP chauvanists. Even MCA has this
kind of people too in it. I often think like you but I cannot express
like you do. I am so proud of you. We must mix more in order to be
really Malaysian. Thats why I suggested earlier that both sides of the
divide should give up their racial ideal but be more Malaysianised and
forget about race based parties whom I feel have no future in view that
BN are loosing their strength year after year. Polticians in the country
should no longer based themselves as under MCA, UMNO, MIC, DAP or PAS
anymore. All these parties should be disbanded for the good of Future
Malaysia. Despite UMNO winning ths GE, but the racial divide is getting
stronger which is not a good omen for the country. Khairy Jamaluddin has
a good fore sight. He is the one who suggested the right proposal to
have MCA and MIC dissolved in order to join United Malaysian National
Organisation. Thank you, KJ.

Chinese diaspora happened out of economic wants or better life,- bcos China then was raged by war and poverty, migrant Chinese in indonesia, thailand were forced to assimilate by adopting Javanese and thai name respectively, they dont enjoy any gov benefit if they use their chinese names.Chinese in US are proud to be identified as American first, all also bcos of US policy. Malaysians like to identified by Race first, bcos of race-based policy.Policy dictates your ideals and ideals dictates how you treat each other.
Bad punctuations aside, the author seems to have a bone to pick with the Chinese Eds. There are many omissions and dubious facts such as that the language of the Tang Dynasty was in fact Cantonese.
The piece was written to trash or at least plea and unfortunately single out generally a particular group of not adhering to a political agenda. In short it is a racist piece of work to support an agenda of hate to a particular group, by hoping to force a quasi truthful narrative.
This is bad, and puts the reader in a myopic opinion by swirling around the topic of race, when there are more constructive views.
While it may be true that some saw the need for vernacular schools as the right to link back to China, the majority is the simple need for education.
Why didn't the author highlight the rise of Chinese schools was simply that the Brits didn't intend nor provided for this to the poor Chinese labourers?
From that, even after independence, there was a distrust on if proper education would and could be provided. That hedge paid off, and today it is fortunate that there is the alternative of Chinese schools which really do provide a higher quality of education.
English schools became National schools and sorry to say, it was downhill from there when the schools became so politicized again with you people so obsessed with race and dominance of a race.
So much so, that now everyone... Including Non-Chinese are competing to get into Chinese schools eventhough they are famous for being tough on the kids.
By singling out Chinese education and his fellow Chinese for censure, isn't the author being chauvinistic too... For the other side?
The thing is the author is missing the point by viewing this through a race lens. The point is quality education, and preparing kids for a globally competitive world increasingly dominated by China.
Like it or not, because we have Chinese schools, we are in such a great position to benefit from it, just as we did when our English schools gave us the edge. Sadly we ultimately threw it away when insecure Malay supremacists dominated the political agenda.
By promoting and spinning the idea of the Chinese chauvinists in an apparent reference and linkage to the big swing in fed-up electorate against MCA, you are again going to be unreal and cost every Malaysian AGAIN to waste what little advantage we have left.
Get over the fact that Malay, while is a beautiful culture and language will not be the lingua fraca. Even Malays are trying to be Arabs.
So why not try to keep thing real, and be practical. Don't politicize education anymore. Educate for knowledge ... Not politics.
The question at the back of my mind after reading this civilizational exposition was what kind of educational experience did this gentleman who graduated from the Sekolah Kebangsaan receive. Shouldn't the Kementerian Pendidikan research Mr.Tai's background and history to find a resolution to replace "outmoded" fully-vernacular schools with some kind of "gemilang" mainstream Malaysian school system with integrated vernacular co-curriculum program(s)? Mr. Tai Zee Kin will likely resonate with Prof. Tu Wei Ming in a talk Bill Moyers in America:
The Art of Deep Listening to others in Communicative Relationships, and Respecting the Cumulative Tradition of our Elders.

Many modern Chinese today have unwittingly imbibed the economic individualism of secular humanism which is in direct contrast to traditional Confucian civilization of wholistic altruism in society through the self-cultivation of human beings.

1. Northern and Southern were divided through long historical war between Dynasties.
2. Mandarin wasn't the original languages it was used by Labor/Union/Liberal/Democrat/Fascist/Socialist/Communist/Anarchist China to unite the people when they weren't united. Hokkien was the original language in the Imperial city because they were lineage of the Emperor and officials before Mongolian, Han Dynasty overthrow the real Emperor and Manchurian invaded and took over the Imperial City. That's why Hokkien people are in Fujian.
3. Why they didn't want to go back to Socialist Communist China because they have one child policy program and become poorer. Here in Malaysia we are rich and can have more than 10 children 1945. Great great grandfather
4. My paternal mother's that's my great grandfather got a traditional Cantonese teacher taught the original history of China and classical literature with oldest writing.
5. I was English educated similar to my grandparents can't comment on this point.
6. My paternal great grandfather came and earn his wages by carrying gunny sacks of rice until he became independent and open a warehouse to transport gunny sacks of rice. Later, his relative came along and eat up his hard earn monthly food. Whereas, my paternal mother's great grandfather in Canton Guangzhou allow my grandmother's father to find a living in Malaysia and he open a company that fix engines after learning from Australian mechanic hands on near Sungai Besi area.
5. China Town in other countries are places to eat Chinese food and get Chinese products to cook in recipes. Nothing much.
6. Malaysian 1st of course.
It worked well last time, vernacular school hampir hilang kerana most parents fighting all over to get a place in such school.
Then came in changes in the education system, sekolah kebangsaan quality goes down, the rest is history.
No wonder the guys on Cheng Ho's boat stayed back
and it is also proven that LKS was merely lying about his Malaysia first, chinese second status!
but the question is, are those racist and chauvinist dap chinese dare to accept this fact or not?

Don't scorn me , I'm just stating a fact . Ask any mid or lower income Chinese men their desire to marry a ... More economical and submissive Malay lady but I heard them saying '' Alas kena sunat , makan susah etc .
Notice how easy and common in Thailand and Philippine for the Sino-local cross marriage . It's even popular in Borneo among Kadazan and Dusun . I have Sino-Kadazan best friends in Sabah that I have to help them to translate daily when we were traveling in Beijing . Their surname are Lim , Vui and Teoh etc . Of course when it come for food their life is easier there !
Even in Indonesia there was a period of time when integration was so easy when there is no compulsion to convert to Islam . That was the time when there leader was uber nationalist and put faith at the back seat .
I'm just giving you one of the clear reason why it's too difficult for integration . Solution ? You ponder about it . The Islamic ceramah here by ultra religious are always confined to politics , fardhu Ain ( basic ritual of a Muslim ) , hudud etc . I have a Chinese accountant . Converted last year quietly . Why ? He thought he will make money by taking Islamic taxation and offer it to his Muslim clients . While studying the fairness of the system .. End up you know what happened .

In Indonesia n Thailand they were force to assimilate. No Chinese school..no chinese name.
Why the first batch of Chinese assimilate because they were few in numbers. But if they are .many..they tend to build their ghettos n would not bother to assimilate.
Kudos to the writer and how i wish the rest of Malaysian Chinese to have the same views.
Assimilation is not easy after 50yrs of racial identity.
If the government is serious about it, make attractive changes to promote integration via education, language, work & leisure etc.
make it desirable enough & people will begin to go for it. Remove racial hate & suspicion.
Use the media to educate & encourage social bonds between races.
Could you please elaborate what are the problems it leads to?

Zahid did not say the Chinese go back to China. He said those who are not satisfied with our electoral system should leave the country - I think that should be about 51% of the total voters who voted for PR who now feel 'cheated'. That includes the independent uztaz at the KLCC mosque this Friday.
Very dangerous to put what we want to hear to what people actually said.

Still in denial eh? The root cause is these people called CHINESE all over the world when the time is riped they would want to 'CORRECT' so called past injustices or ill-treatment they received from colonial masters eg. Head Tax in Canada, killed in Australia etc
They are Jews of Asia whom believed they are wrongly persecuted/treated and took revenge on the wrong people after all.
Just be upfront that you are never satisfied with what you have until everything is in your ABSOLUTE control, its your given nature that is very hard even for you yourself to fathom. The Jews would say they are the chosen tribe, then what is your tagline?
The Malays forfeited many rights, been very forgiving and most willing to share despite the pie on their plate is minimal and still lagging behind! But the Malays are no greedy lot and easily contented yet they are seen as hopeless and lazy, even spat at literally!
My point - just acknowledged that MAY 13, 1969 the CHINESE lot pushed the red button so arrogantly that sent the temperature boiling!
You do not want to integrate or assimilate not because of 'OTHER' reason/s, the problem is always looping back to not having full control means you cannot profess and realised your REAL AGENDA OF HAVING ABSOLUTE POWER AND CONTROL!
When given the little power in your hands you can hail MALAI SI and many other derogatory remarks along with jibed to the constitutional monarchy and ruling class malays ie UMNO, imagined the retribution when you attained ABSOLUTE POWER AND CONTROL! In this case retribution doesn't mean justified but pure VENGEANCE and RAGE!
LKY (offshoot LHL, PM) and LKS (offshoot LGE, CM) are LIVING example of you people are better than anybody else (Too ARROGANT) including your elite, let alone the Malays. Now that LKY is in his twilight years and 'realised' there is divine power beyond him after all with depleting health and erratic sharp rebuttals, he knew that he will never be able come back from his grave and corrected what is not RIGHT according to him as he once proudly and arrogantly said himself!
The man is so far ahead of his planning even in death but his thinking is from the HEART OF HIS BOTTOM!
If you want to call it racist or abuse choice of words to LKY or even LKS then it is lame compared to what his own rhetorics thrown very loosely and cheaply at the Malays in the parliament, memoirs etc. you name it.
Melayu Luar Negara (Overseas Malay)
I agree that a stumbling block to national intergration stems from there not being a uniform schooling system. Having a Chinese school blocks many of the interface between races. BBeing from a national school, an sm kebangsaan, I can appreciate what national schools try to achieve. However, one major stumbling block is our national education system,of which is sseverely lacking in any kind of standard.National schools should have an integrated aapproach, making tamil and chinese as an option. Increase the quality of the education system. Many more to bitch about, will continue next time.
